STUDENT

Stay: Up to 5 years and in line with your enrolment

Cost: From AUD650 Govt. Fees [plus consultation fees]

What it lets you do: 

• participate in an eligible course of study

• bring family members to Australia with you

• work upto 48 hours per fortnight

• travel to and from Australia

Eligibility

• be enrolled in a course of study in Australia

• hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), or fall in one of the exemption categories

• must be 6 years or older

• prove you have a welfare arrangement, if you are under 18

• meet English language requirements

• have enough money for your stay

• be a genuine temporary entrant

TRAINING

Stay: Up to 2 years

Cost: From AUD325 Govt. Fees [plus consultation fees]

What it lets you do: 

• visit Australia to complete a workplace-based  training (to improve your skills for your current occupation, area of tertiary study or field of expertise), or a professional development training program

• bring family members to Australia with you

Eligibility:

• be sponsored or nominated or invited

• have adequate health insurance

• be a genuine temporary entrant

• meet English language requirements
